K. Ramachandra Reddy

Mr. Reddy is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Madras and holds an M.S.E.E. degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA (1972). He has over 33 years of experience in Silicon Valley in the area of design, manufacturing and marketing of various integrated circuits (ICs). He has successfully started several semiconductor fables design companies like Lotus Designs Corp, Silicon Logic, Startech Semiconductors in the Silicon Valley, USA.

While working at American Micro Systems in Santa Clara, California he was responsible for designing the world's first DSP chip. He will speak on the electronics stream and the opportunities in areas like VLSI apart from sharing his experiences as an entrepreneur.

Santanu Paul
CEO, TalentSprint.

Santanu has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he was a recipient of the prestigious Rackham pre-doctoral fellowship and the IBM Canada fellowship. He graduated from IIT Madras in Computer Science. .

Mr. Paul served at Virtusa Corporation in a variety of senior management and operational roles such as General Manager, Hyderabad Advanced Technology Center; Asia Head, High Tech and BFSI Business Units; and SVP, Global Delivery Operations. He began his career as a research staff member at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Centre in New York, where his team designed Rainmaker, a pioneering workflow system for which he has been awarded United States patents.He will speak on the Computer Science stream.

P. Venugopalan
Director, Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL).

He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from IIT, Madras (1971) and also obtained an M. Tech from the same institution.He has served at the DRDO/DRDL in various capacities. He was head of the Liquid Propulsion Division and director, Advanced Technology, before taking over as the Project Director of BrahMos Supersonic Cruise Missile Development programme under Indo-Russian joint venture. He is currently holding the position of Outstanding Scientist and Director, DLRL, Hyderabad. He is also the programme director of IGMDP and PJ-10 (BrahMos) and Chairman, PMB of Astra Programme. He will share his experiences on Mechanical Engineering and opportunities in the stream.

R.V. Chakrapani
Managing Director of Aarvee Associates.

A B. Tech graduate in Civil and with an M.S. in Structures from IIT Madras, Mr. Chakrapani worked in the industry in various capacities. His company Aarvee Associates offers consulting services for planning, designing and construction monitoring to infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. He handled some major projects like the District Sports Complexes of the government of Andhra Pradesh and sports infrastructures for National Games in the State. He will speak on Civil Engineering and making careers in it.

Nagesh S. Walimbe
Zen Consultants.

Mr. Walimbe is a Chemical Engineer with 32 years of experience in chemical and pharmaceutical industry in various aspects like research & development, project management and operations management. He holds a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
After working in various organisations, he established a consultancy service – Zen Consultants, which has clients like Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, and Suven Pharmaceuticals. He also started Anu's Laboratories Limited. As a director, he is involved in solving technical problems, improvisation of manufacturing processes, planning & implementing R&D activities, planning & implementation of new projects etc.

Ajay Antony

Ajay Antony A teacher - Teaches Physics for students of 11th and 12th Std has been involved in Career Counselling for more than 15 years and has Conducted various Career Counselling Sessions for Students of age group 12 to 22 in different parts of the country. He has conducted Training Programmes for Higher Secondary School Teachers. Has functioned as the resource person for several Universities and other Academic Institutions for various programmes related to Career Development . He is also a Quiz Master, Conducted large number of Quiz Programmes across India and has created one Guinness World Record and two National Records (Limca Book of National Records) with T.I.M.E. Aqua Regia - The Science Quiz.

Prof Kesav Vithal Nori

Prov Kesav is a B.Tech (EEE) from IIT Mumbai, 1967 and M.Tech (EEE) from IIT Kanpur, 1970 and is Retired Executive Director / Executive Vice President, TCS Hyderabad. He has worked as a Senior Reseach Associate at IIT Kanpur and as Research Scientist at Computer Group TIFR & NCST and was Executive Director for Business Systems & Cybernetics Centre, TCS Hyderabad from 2004 to 2009.His Research Interests include Programming languages and their processors Meta Tools & derivation of tools from software process Modelling and simulation and systems engineering applied to enterprise systems.

Venkatesh

Mr. Venkatesh is a Mech-engg B.Tech, and has an MS in Engg. Mechanics and Aerospace Engg. He has worked with Tata Research and OMC Computers for a few years before starting his own company. In this, he focused on CAD/CAM/CAE, and participated in several successful projects including vehicle-development programs. He merged this company with another in 2004 and worked as the CTO of the merged organization till he exited completely in 2006 to start his current business. which addresses learning-needs (analysis, design, development and evaluation) in subsets of two areas - engineering and management.

P. Sriram, Ph.D

Mr. P. Sriram Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, I.I.T., Madras is a B.Tech. (Aero) - IIT Madras, 1982 with M.S. (Aero) -
Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, 1984 and a Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, 1988. He is a top notch performer at every step he was awarded Best Paper by ASTM (1989). Post Doctoral work was nominated for University-wide Best Teacher Award in 1993. He was also shortlisted for Marquis Who’s Who in the world in 1996. His exemplary performance as department computer centre administrator has led to appointment as institute computer centre head - a rare posting for non-computer science faculty and for his age group. An unsolicited comment by Director of IIT Madras that “Computer Centre would rank highest in campus on customer satisfaction” He has 40 research papers to his credit including 18 in international journals with mean citation rate of 4.5 citations per paper. And is a Principal Investigator on projects of value Rs.36 lakhs + $ 440000

Kalsi

Shri H.S.Kalsi, a technocrat with double post Graduation in Management, is Addl. General Manager in Contract Management - Exports
Division of BHEL RC Puram Hyderabad. He graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from erstwhile REC Trichy (now NIT Trichy), University of Madras, and did his post graduation in Management from Bhavan’s Institute of Communication and Management, Mumbai. He began his career with short stint with Jyoti Ltd. Baroda as Asst. Project Engineer. He then joined BHEL RC Puram Hyderabad in 1982 and is presently responsible for contract management of export projects and has been actively involved in setting up of the first power plant by an Indian company in UAE. He is a honorary faculty with Engineering Staff College of India since two decades, besides being a regular faculty for PETS & HRDs of various electricity boards, Power Corporations, Public Sector undertakings etc.

G. Sreedhar

Mr. SREEDHAR is a B.TECH. (AERO) 1979 IIT M, he has a DGCA Licences to cover maintenance and certification of HS748, Boeing
737-200, Airbus 320, A319 & A300 a/c and Engines fitted thereon. He has over 25 years cumulative experience in Maintenance and Certification of Aircraft, Development of Infrastructure and Test facilities during new Aircraft. He is a Member of the Aeronautical Society of India

V.A.Srinivasan

Mr Srinivasan is a M.V.Sc. (Veterinary Microbiology) and Ph.D. (Veterinary Virology). Presently he is Research Director, Indian Immunologicals Limited, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India. He has guided 3 PhD students. He has published research articles and chapters in Books and manuals. And has won several awards.

K.V. Ramana

Mr. Ramana is a B.Tech( Met), IIT Madras- 1970 and PGDBA , IIM Ahmedabad- 1972 with 38 years experience in Industry and Academics. Currently he is CFO of Nile Limited, Hyderabad with additional responsibility as COO for the Lead Recycling Division.
