yes I have seen a similar crisis when i was in college..some professors had to teach other subjects just due to the lack of faculty

A related problem leading to the current state is the “faculty crisis”. There is a serious shortage of faculty members as B-schools and the Engineering Colleges have mushroomed across the country. Most of the colleges for higher education (including the IITs and IIMs) have about 40% vacancies on an average.
A typical business school in India tends to have less than 10 faculty members. Most of the subjects are taught by so-called ‘visiting faculty’ who typically teach at three to four colleges simultaneously. In most of the not-so-known colleges, it can be seen that students graduated in the last one or two years are the ones teaching the current students.
The reasons for this sorry state of affairs might be many and there seems to be no immediate solution possible.

There is clearly a gap between what is being taught in the institutions and corporate world needs. I believe our teachers should be taught the needs in the field and equip them to embrace new tools and technology.

I am seeing this myself working with colleges and preparing the (would be) graduates to become prepared for the corporate world.

Some interesting and intelligent content you have here on your site. I have several wordpress sites and like your theme. I do notice that you are not monetising your traffic to its maximum which is what I used to do until someone pointed out to me that you can actually earn yourself some decent amounts to help pay your hosting and domain fees etc. Looking at your Alexa rankings I can see you obtain some decent traffic which for very little work could help you out. I use this Wordpress Plugin which effectively turns words and phrases in all (or just some if you like) your content, making contexual links which your visitors will click upon. Take a look at it and see what I mean, I easily clear my hosting and other fees each month using this. Hope that helps you out - we fellow wordpress bloggers have to stick together!

Clearly your open minded and receptive to other ideas. Many people in the online community are a little more totalitarian. added to my socialbookmark Of course– and I probably shouldn’t even have to say this– people are free to run their own websites as they see fit. But I get the highest value from blogs where either the author’s writing is so outstanding that the lack of comments isn’t material a combination of good writing and good comments leaving my personal Research weblog if you dont mind wael kfoury
